Full Job Description
As a Gong cha Shift Leader to be a staff role model, working with and training team of boba-rista to deliver highest quality of customer service along with exceptional drinking experience. You’ll be working in an environment where you’ll have the ability to positively influence and guide others, maintain an encouraging team environment, and grow your leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Reports directly to Owner
- Manages Inventory and Staff
- Understands and is responsible for all aspects of daily operations
- Supervises entire staff on daily operations
- Understands local health codes and other local city and state requirements and keeps the store in full compliance
- Orders inventory and manages full control of daily and weekly inventory
- Ensure that the equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Keeps business in compliance with Gong Cha inspections
- Monitors orders are being taken properly and efficiently
- Generates all required reports for owner and Gong Cha accurately
- Manages staff, inventory, and quality control for all aspects of the business
- Excellent customer service
- Maintains a safe, secure, and clean environment for customers and employees
- Participates in Gong Cha arranged community events and meetings (when applicable)
- Performs all job functions necessary to ensure that business runs efficiently
- Ensures every employee is in Gong Cha approved uniform when on work schedule
- Ensures money is accurate at all times (opening count, closing count of shift)
- Drops money in safe and follows all established guidelines in handling money
- Communicate customer feedback/complains/suggestions to Owner
Qualifications:
- Must be a team leader able to guide employees while working under pressure
- Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Takes initiative and acts as a role model to others
- Enjoys working in a team, and can positively influence and motivate others
- Understands how to create a great customer service experience
- Available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays, and be on-call to fill in as required
- At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees
- Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- You must be able to clearly communicate in English. The ability to speak other languages, such as Korean or Chinese, is a plus but not required.
- You must be 18 and over.
- Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
