Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server/Bartender to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This is an exciting opertuninty to start at a brand new restaurant inside of the Dickens theater. It is a fun place to work!
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
- Take orders from guests and provide recommendations on drink options
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional service to guests
- Monitor alcohol consumption of guests and ensure responsible service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations
