Game Truck Party Attendant

As a Game Truck Party Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and enjoyment of gaming parties hosted within a mobile gaming truck. Your primary focus will be to create a fun and memorable experience for customers by managing gaming equipment, facilitating gameplay, and maintaining a high level of customer service. This role requires a passion for video games, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to various gaming preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Engagement:

- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

- Assist guests with game selection and provide recommendations based on their preferences.

- Ensure a positive and enjoyable gaming experience for all participants.

2. Equipment Setup and Maintenance:

- Set up gaming consoles, screens, and other equipment inside the mobile gaming truck before each event.

- Perform routine checks to ensure all gaming equipment is functioning correctly.

- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide quick solutions during events.

3. Game Facilitation:

- Guide and assist players in understanding game rules and controls.

- Manage game rotations and ensure fair play among participants.

- Foster a friendly and inclusive gaming environment for players of all ages.

4. Safety and Security:

- Enforce safety rules and guidelines to prevent accidents or mishandling of equipment.

- Monitor the gaming area to prevent unauthorized access and ensure a secure environment.

5. Customer Service:

- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a prompt and courteous manner.

- Upsell additional services or merchandise to enhance the overall party experience.

6. Clean-Up and Maintenance:

- Break down and store gaming equipment after each event.

- Perform routine maintenance on gaming consoles and peripherals.

- Keep the gaming truck clean and organized.

Qualifications:

- Passion for video games and knowledge of popular gaming titles.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly.

- Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry gaming equipment.

- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.

- Previous experience in event coordination or customer service is a plus.

Working Conditions:

- The role involves working in a mobile gaming truck environment.

- May require standing for extended periods and lifting heavy equipment.

- Weekends and evenings availability may be required.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
