Good Neighbor Vet is a mobile vaccine clinic that offers affordable preventative veterinary services to pets. We are actively seeking to hire Veterinary Assistants to join our Auburn area team. Qualified applicants will have veterinary assistant experience, able to work both Saturday and Sunday, have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation for commuting and be a dynamic team player.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

- Work well with cats and dogs
- Ability to drive a Sprinter van (no special license needed)
- Ability to work outside year round
- Ability to drive long distances
As a veterinary assistant you will be responsible for restraining pets for vaccinations, taking pet vitals, assisting with pet nail trims, aiding in cleaning ears, performing anal gland expressions, and aiding our veterinarians with additional pet care. You must be comfortable around both cats and dogs.

Typical Shifts: Saturdays 8am -- 6pm / Sundays 8am -- 6pm (may vary depending on clinic runs) This position has the opportunity to transition to full time with midweek hours if desired.
