Community Engagement Liaison Purpose: This position will leverage Good Place Holdings and its Principles and Values to initiate, grow, and maintain relationships with the diverse communities around us, allowing us to establish trust and connections with our communities to better build up truly good places.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, understand, and connect with existing Community Patterns (CPs).
- Connect Good Place Institute relationship with CPs for their process and impact improvement.
- Determine a good path and plan to connect us with communities and needs, so we can contribute to ‘Shalom’ in measurable/meaningful ways.
- Work with the brands under Good Place Holdings to implement plans to engage the communities and provide our product and services, so we can contribute to ‘Shalom’ in measurable/meaningful ways.
- Assess our efforts on building up Good Places in communities, and provide clear and honest feedback to stakeholders.
- Serve as a Liaison between Good Place Holdings and the communities.
- Represent as needed Good Place Holdings and/or the Brands in CPs, community meetings, events, and gatherings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted Ohio State Driver’s License or be able to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
- At least 2 years of experience (volunteer or professional) in a role which includes:
- Community engagement
- Planning
- Policy analysis
- Training
- Public speaking
- Coordination and/or consultation with a variety of public and private agencies/organizations/government levels

- Significant involvement with and understanding of community improvement organizations and efforts.
- Relationship building skills.

Work Conditions:
- Most of the work for this position is conducted indoors, in a conventional office environment, in an office or cubicle workstation, with low noise.
- Events, conferences, local (to our operating locations) meetings in various places might require driving and or travel.
Physical Demands: While working, the ability to:
- perform work at workstation for extended periods of time, typically at least 8 hours a day, sometimes more or less if business needs require.
- occasionally lift objects up to 25 lbs.;
- regularly hear, see, and talk.
- occasionally stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb throughout the day.
