Seeking experienced medical office Administrative Assistant. The Clinical Administrative Assistant must be accountable, flexible, respectful and collaborative to assist Good Shepherd in its vision of providing the exceptional hospice experience. All team members are expected to have strong customer service skills and demonstrate a commitment to the Hospice philosophy of care.
Experience in a health-care setting strongly preferred
- Full-time position - Monday through Friday / 8am to 5pm
- Hospice office experience preferred or minimum of two years of health-care office experience required.
- Candidates not meeting these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities
The Clinical Administrative Assistant provides support to the clinical management team (including Patient Care Team Managers and the Intake Coordinator) and performs a variety of administrative duties.
- Manages and prioritizes multiple tasks; works independently with limited supervision and direction but remains team player; self-motivated. Follows through on responsibilities.
- Communicates effectively with internal/external customers in writing and orally.
- Maintains a variety of confidential information in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Possesses intermediate to advanced computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook. Basic knowledge of office equipment and skills including phones, copier, fax, filing etc.
- Assists with correspondence.
- Provides clerical support for Interdisciplinary Team Meetings.
- Completes data entry into EMR to support and efficient Start of Care process.
- Displays flexibility and changes approach/method to fit the situation at hand. Demonstrates stable performance and emotion under opposition and stress.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.

- Must be well organized, a good communicator and attentive to details.
- Must be able to multi-task and demonstrative initiative with assigned responsibilities.
- Must demonstrate an understanding of the hospice philosophy.
- Must be a team player who can keep deadlines and provide appropriate communication.
Qualifications
- Hospice office experience preferred or minimum of two years of health-care office experience required.
- Minimum of high school degree required
- Experience with operating office machines such as fax, copier and phones
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must display a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
