Role Overview

Good Sports is urgently hiring Temporary Warehouse Operations Associates. The Associates will be members of a small team in support of the inbound/outbound performance for Good Sports.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading of trucks, sorting, counting, and recording incoming donations
• Picking, packing, and shipping of outgoing donations
• Assist with putaway of inventory and moving inventory in and out of locations
• Assist with year-end physical inventory audit count
• Work with the Team to maintain overall warehouse inventory accuracy
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, dock doors/bays, and workstations neat and free of debris. Sweeping, organizing, breaking down of corrugated, removal of trash are all expecations.

• Ability to take direction and perform essential tasks as assigned
• Complete daily work in a safe and timely manner with minimal supervision
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-30 lbs.
• May be trained to operate manual pallet jacks, and climb ladders
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb for sustained periods of time
• Will be exposed to moving manual and power equipment, noise, and dust
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
• Will use boxcutters, scissors, and tape guns daily
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
• The facility is open M-F between the hours of 8:30 am and 7:00 pm. Creative scheduling may be considered and negotiated to work around additional responsibilities. Both part-time and full-time schedules are available.
• Hourly rate of pay is $21.00/hour. The position is temporary and is not benefits-eligible.
