What does it mean to be a Store Associate?
As a Store Associate, you'll be the friendly face our customers look forward to seeing. You'll spend most of your time indoors but also have the chance to enjoy the sunshine as you help around the fuel pumps or tidy up the grounds.
- Assist customers with purchases and locating items.
- Handle cashier duties and provide top-notch customer service.
- Maintain stock levels of items for customer satisfaction.
- Support inventory management tasks.
- Keep the store and grounds clean and attractive.
- Follow company policies and safety standards.
- Close registers and report discrepancies to the Manager.
- Ensure hot food items meet company standards.
- Help with fuel spill cleanup.
- Meet legal age requirements for alcohol and tobacco sales.
Qualifications & Physical Demands:
To be a Store Associate, you must:
- Be of the legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco.
- Be able to perform the job according to the job description.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Move around freely.
- Lift up to 25 lbs. (that's about 75 bananas!).
But don't worry, we'll make sure you have everything you need to stay comfortable and safe.
What makes you look even better?
While no experience is necessary, a high school diploma or GED is a plus. And if you have any experience in retail or with Point-of-Sale systems, that's a bonus!
