Goodwill Industries of Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan is seeking a Full-Time Case Manager to join our Workforce Development team in Marinette, WI. The hired candidate will support Goodwill’s mission of providing vocational counseling and training to adults with disabilities.
Position responsibilities include: Essential functions:
Providing case management services for Work Center and possibilities Program facility standards
Conduct intakes and develop service plans. Schedule staffing to appropriate case loads
Maintain contact and develop work relationship with referring counselors
Become knowledgeable in WI, CARF, and DOL Standards as they apply to customer services and the physical facility
Provide individual and/or group counseling pertaining to the vocational and personal needs of the customers.
General duties:
Attend staff meetings, annual meetings, planning conferences and others as assigned
Responsible for implementing safety practices and for safety of individuals in conjunction with the facility
Facilitate downtime activities for customers
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum and preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of physical and mental disabilities and how they affect vocational and social adjustments
Knowledgeable of professional rehabilitation procedures and practices
Knowledgeable of available community resources
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledgeable in computers and word processing
Bachelor’s degree in vocational rehabilitation or directly related program preferred. A combination of relevant work experience and college courses will be considered.
One or more years of professional experience in a vocational rehabilitation setting.
Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Goodwill Industries offers a dynamic, supportive work culture, a benefit package, and opportunities for advancement. Pay range is between $16-$17 an hour depending on experience.
