E-Commerce Supervisor

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A E-COMMERCE SUPERVISOR

The E-Commerce Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership in all areas of E-Commerce. Communicate department needs with all staff, including management, and assist all areas in meeting/exceeding daily goals to ensure department is operating efficiently. 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A E-COMMERCE SUPERVISOR

The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of item marketing and appropriate assignment of value, basic knowledge of antiques and collectibles, and be competent in internet use and a variety of software applications.  This person will also be dependable to work anytime within our open hours (hours are Monday - Sunday 8AM- 4:30PM). 

The position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours), bend, stoop, lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds, reach overhead, operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand-trucks to move product throughout the store and production areas. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Know and demonstrate company values at all times. 
• Assist team members in providing excellent customer service; respond to incoming E-Collectible emails within 48 hours of receipt and E-Book emails within one business day. 
• Assist team members in meeting/exceeding their daily goals. 

• Proficient in at least six areas of department; consistently meet/ exceed goals. Knowledgeable in standard operating procedures for all areas of department. 
• Work closely with team members to ensure product is listed within a timely manner and assist operating department at/above goal and providing the necessary direction to employees in the absence of other management staff. When acting manager on duty, successfully provide oversight of department; operational oversight to meet goals, supervise team, Management by Walking Around, effective employee coaching and complete administrative reports as appropriate.

• Oversee department work flow, making minor changes to processes as necessary.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Report all unusual or suspicious occurrences as they happen, or as they are reported, to the Department Manager.
• Assist in recruitment and selection process as needed.
• Communicate and assist customers and donors as needed.
• Assist Store Manager in day-to-day operations of the department.

• Coordinate and communicates transportation, maintenance, and IT needs to the appropriate individuals.
• Assist in ordering and maintaining supplies.
• Maintains acceptable attendance, personal hygiene, and dress code standards including wearing company issued name badges.
• Cleans up all work areas at the end of each shift and assists other associates in performing housekeeping tasks.
• Follow all company and department policies and procedures.

• Ensure all safety rules are followed; reports accidents or injuries immediately.

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona, Inc. and persons receiving services.
• Attend meetings and training as required.
