What you’ll be doing:
- Manage staff to meet all contract requirements.
- Coordinate with customer’s contract management to resolve changes in schedules, cleaning requirements and special events and/or services.
- Ensure all staff performs their tasks in accordance with flowcharts and work instructions found in the department’s quality and environmental management system (QMS/EMS) manual.
- Interpret policies and procedures and ensures compliance with set standards of safety and security.
- Responsible for staffing potential candidates in accordance with Source AbilityOne requirements.
- Maintain clean and healthy buildings, workspace, and break room areas.
- Requisition supplies and equipment. Ensure equipment is maintained in a clean and safe condition.
- Responsible for supervising, training, motivating, and evaluating staff to reach Goodwill’s operational goals.
- Schedule and assign staff to specific tasks associated with their job responsibilities.
- Attend staff meetings, technical and management review meetings, and participate in group projects.
- Conduct monthly meetings with all employees. Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are resolved within the time allotted.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Three to five (3 – 5) years of experience in facilities maintenance.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Have basic maintenance knowledge and skills to preform minor maintenance task.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Working Environment Conditions/Requirements:
- Available to be on-call 24 hours for all building and equipment emergencies.
- Must be able to meet all physical requirements to perform the duties of the position including the ability to bend, reach, grasp, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to push, pull and lift to 30lbs with or without accommodation.
