Goodwill NCW is looking for a motivated and ambitious Talent Acquisition Specialist who’s a go-getter. One who thrives on the challenge of working in a mission-based environment and who has a passion for helping store leaders find and hire talent with the right skills and experiences to best serve our customers and guests.

While receiving direction from the HR leadership team and in partnership with the rest of the human resources team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will work very closely with hiring leaders to ensure they adequately understand the needs of the organization and the requirements and expectations of the job. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will source and recruit candidates using a variety of outlets, while effectively targeting the right kinds of candidates for the job.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist role consists of reviewing resumes, screening candidates, preparing candidates, scheduling interviews with hiring leaders and assessing overall candidate qualifications for the role. This position will provide a great experience for prospective team members throughout the recruiting process ensuring that all that all activities are performed in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision, values, and brand of Goodwill.

Key Responsibilities

1.    Work with hiring leaders and others to adequately understand the requirements and expectations of the job in order to effectively assess applicants

2.    Source and recruit candidates using a variety of outlets, such as job postings, social media and sourcing events while effectively targeting the right kinds of candidates, seeking out and recommending creative new ways of sourcing top talent

3.    Facilitate onsite interview processes for leader, professional and technical roles

4.    Screen and assess candidates to determine if they meet minimum qualifications. If so, submit and schedule the candidate for next steps

5.    Schedule phone and onsite interviews, reserve conference rooms, provide confirmations for the candidates and hold hiring leaders and interviewers accountable for their roles in the recruitment process

6.    Maintain candidate pool in our applicant tracking system as well as other recruiting management records

7.    Contribute to projects that positively impact the HR team

What I Must Bring

·      Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field. 

·      3 years of high-volume entry level recruitment as well as leadership, technical and professional recruitment experience is required.

·      Experience with scheduling tools and applicant tracking systems

·      Strong organization, written and verbal communication skills

·      Creative problem solver

·      Assertive self-starter willing to hold self and others accountable 

·      Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
