Onsite Common Area Cleaner

Overview

The prestigious Santa Rita Ranch in Liberty Hill is looking for a grounds keeper full time, $18-20 per hour. You will be working mostly outside as porters making sure the property is always pristine. Primarily around the construction areas and the bordering ranch land. We will provide necessary ppe. Wed/Thursdays would be your days off and the shift is 2-10pm We will need to perform drug/background tests for this role.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Clean all surfaces in common areas (e.g. Information Centers, Fitness Center, kitchens, restrooms) to include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and glass cleaning;
• Empty garbage cans from all amenity spaces including restrooms and dog waste stations;
• Clean and maintain light fixtures for replacement bulbs. Report damaged fixtures to maintenance for repair;
• Inspect conditions of furniture and fixtures for tears, rips, and stains and report to maintenance;
• Post caution signs to limit pedestrian traffic when necessary;
• Patrol grounds for trash and debris along roads, maintaining a “Clean as You Go” mindset;
• Greet residents when in contact with a warm smile, and genuine greeting
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
• Assist in execution of on-site resident social events

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required;
• Ability to read, write, and understand English;
• Ability to use cleaning equipment, such as brooms, mops, vacuums, and cleaning chemicals;
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others;
• Strong organizational and time-management skills;
• Ability to multi-task;
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions for chemical refills;
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality;
• Must maintain professional appearance;
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required;
• Must comply with all safety requirements;
• Required to maintain a regular schedule which may require working overtime, weekends and non-traditional holidays;
• May be required to be on-call and aid during staffing deficiencies on-site
