CNC Programmer Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of industry experience
- Experience in machine tool operation & CNC programming. 5 Axis is preferable
- Relevant degree qualification or similar qualification with relevant professional experience
- Experience using CAD/CAM packages, Ideally Autodesk Inventor & EdgeCAM
- Strong follow-through
- Self-directed initiative
- Excellent communication; both verbal and written
CNC Programmer Responsibilities:
- Deliver turnkey solutions to the customer from technical presales to customer handover and sign off
- Key areas of the work include Customer liaison, Tooling and Fixturing design using a 3d CAD Package
- Programming CNC control systems using CAM software
- Knowledge transfer to the customer and delivering training sessions
- Must be confident presenting about technical topics and delivering customer training.
