Controller Qualifications/Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting/Finance) and CPA certification required.
• 10-15 years of accounting experience (public/private sector) with strong financial management skills (budgeting, analysis, risk assessment).
• Oversee financial reporting internally, externally, and to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Lead the annual budgeting process with department heads, and monitor/analyze budget variances for cost optimization.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and support strategic initiatives, including risk assessment and tax compliance.
• Track and manage pricing, promotion, IR, and Merchandise Funds, and recommend/implement accounting process improvements.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a problem-solving mindset and big-picture perspective.
