We are seeking a director who is all about the member experience, leading a team and creating that home away from home experience.

Candidates wil have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a country club or luxury resort. The Director of Food & Beverage will have the responsibility for all food and beverage revenue and net income including all food and beverage service for events and a la carte dining in the Clubhouse, Banquets, and the halfway house , Beach Club, and any food and beverage sold throughout our other amenities.

If this excites you, compensation for this role is up to $125,000 plus 10% bonus and an excellent benefits package including relocation expenses.

Food and Beverage Director Responsibilities : ·

• Responsible for meeting budgeted revenues and expenses and improving profitability related to the Food & Beverage Department.
• Monitors budgets in all areas of cost control with a consistent focus on the cost of inventory, sales, and payroll. · Partners with the Finance team to review all Food and Beverage revenues, payroll, and cost of sales metrics versus plan.
• Prepares annual Food and Beverage operating and capital budgets.
• Increases level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an outstanding product and service.
• Direct the daily activities and assignments of staff, ensure appropriate coverage, develop and communicate departmental strategies and goals, and assign / prioritize work.
• Partners with the Executive Chef to provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to the guests.
• Directly leads all aspects of banquet operations including developing and maintaining managerial and banquet captain oversight of all operations.
• Collaborates with Director of Communication on sales and marketing strategies.
• Creates banquet and event sales plan and measures and reports sales metrics
• Reviews and approve all menus and pricing in restaurant outlets and banquet / catering.
• Ensures that evaluation of food product, front-of-house employee performance, and development of product are consistent with our market position.
• Develops a selection and pricing strategy for all liquors and wines, and supervise their procurement.
• Ongoing maintenance of the clubhouse building, furniture and equipment through capital planning as required in the budget process.
• Interviews, hires, and trains employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and coach employees;

address complaints and problem solve.

Food and Beverage Director Qualifications :

• Education, Experience and Knowledge : · Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality / Restaurant Management or equivalent is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Restaurant General Manager or Director of Food & Beverage at a club or hotel. Banquets and event sales experience is a plus.
• Food Handler, Sommelier and Alcohol Awareness Certifications.
• Serv Safe Certification required.
• Knowledge of alcohol serving practices and standards · Extensive passion for and an understanding of the restaurant and bar industry and proven track record of success ·
• Leadership and supervisory practices and skills with effective verbal and written communication skills
• Polished, professional appearance and presentation.
