Our Michelin-rated restaurant group seeks a polished Sommelier to ensure the planning, training, and leadership necessary to achieve sales, and cost control for the wine program.
Restaurant Sommelier Responsibilities:
- Stay current with the wine industry and trends
- Train and develop staff on wine service training
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness and organization of wine storage
- Ensure that all wine is served consistently
- Partner directly with the Chef throughout the service and act as a role model for guest interaction
Restaurant Sommelier Requirements:
- 3 years of high-end food, beverage and/or service management experience
- Michelin-rated experience
- Ability to think on your feet and recognize when priorities need to be shifted
- Excellent communications skills
- Communicate and manage the flow of seating, work with restaurant management, and service teams to ensure overall smooth service and guest satisfaction
