About the Position
Goodyear SightLine is Goodyear's new suite of tire intelligence solutions that help enable seamless, safe, and reliable mobility for drivers, vehicles operators and automakers.
We are seeking a New Venture Specialist to help support the development and implementation of a connected vehicle initiative, assist in creating and operating a large scale North American "lab" of connected vehicles for the purpose of collecting and leveraging real world tires & vehicle usage data.
The New Venture Specialist will help ensure customer relationship management tools are maintained and will help facilitate SightLine target-fleet interaction as required. Additionally, the New Venture Special will have the opportunity to represent organization in a business-to-business environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform an instrumental role on the Data-As-A-Service (DaaS) SightLine cross-functional external & internal teams to help deliver connected tire & vehicle living lab program from definition to deployment.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders, including customers, partners and related suppliers that will foster a high-performance organization.
- Collaborate with Sightline DaaS Global Deployment team members to provide support and business insights that ensure field activities are executed in a very organized and cost-effective manner.
- Work closely with DaaS team members to provide developmental guidance in regards to delivering marketing insight and valuable customer products to participating living lab customers.
- Align with SightLine New Ventures Manager to ensure that the program remains on-budget and operates with a high-degree of fiscal responsibilities that delivers positive return to the organization.
Required Education and Experience
- B.S. in engineering, marketing, economics, or social sciences, required.
- MBA or MS in the relevant fields desired.
- 4 years’ experience working in innovation projects or equivalent entrepreneurship/project/program management experiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
- Experience in innovation or customer facing roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to contribute to a cross functional team environment.
- Ability to travel 10-20% on average.
- Analytical skills including ability to assess target customer opportunities.
- Communication skills - ability to clearly communicate progress of projects to stakeholders.
