Motion Graphic Designer: Illustration & Animation

The Motion Graphic Designer: Illustration & Animation will be an integral part of our Creative Services team, designing and executing digital content for various channels at Gopuff.  This creative storyteller is excited to bring concepts and stories to life through motion graphics across a variety of digital platforms. 

• Collaborate with other members of the Creative Services team to develop and execute campaign deliverables.
• Adapt and optimize motion graphics for different screen sizes and resolutions to ensure seamless playback on various devices
• Contribute to the creative process by bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to the table, contributing to the overall success of the design team
• Demonstrate a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality motion graphic deliverables that meet requirements and exceed expectations
• Communicate and collaborate with cross functional partners, leadership, and other designers on multiple projects.
• Research retail and e-commerce market trends, understand the brand value proposition and translate into motion graphics
• Leverage new and existing brand books, style guides, storyboards, scripts and translate them into impactful visuals across a variety of asset classes
• Create models, drawings and illustrations by hand or electronically
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High standard for creative excellence
• Degree in computer animation, 3D/graphic design, fine arts or relevant field
• Minimum of 3-5 years Motion Graphics/Animation experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (notably After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Character animator & 3D Design skills a plus.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D, stop motion and computer-generated animation
• Demonstrated understanding of typography, color, and layout.
• Must be detail-oriented and organized with ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to translate brand concepts into motion graphics.
• Demonstrable portfolio of completed illustrations and/or animations

• Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on  your location. Compensation for U.S. locations is based on a cost of labor index for  that geographic area. 
• $54,000 - 90,600 USD annually
• The salary range above reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A  candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience,  qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be  modified in the future.
