Job Posting for Patient Care Coordinator at Gordon Schanzlin New Vision Institute
We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator for a busy refractive and cataract practice - candidate must have positive attitude, good computer and people skills.
The ideal candidate will present themselves professionally, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have excellent customer services skills.
Our Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for taking our patients through the process of preparing for the surgical day by scheduling surgery, reviewing documents/consents, and providing patient education. The PCC will be responsible for educating our patients on refractive, cataract, and corneal procedures.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide excellent customer service to our patients.
- Schedule surgery and follow up appointments/treatments.
- Educate the patient about their surgery and finance options.
- Perform pre-certifications as needed.
- Discuss lens options with the patient.
- Respond to call patient inquiries in a timely manner.
- Review pre-operative and post-operative eye drops and medications with the patient.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
