The Human Resource Business Partner as a member of the People Services Team, you will provide human resource services to all corporate and field based employees. The BP is responsible for assisting with administration of policies and programs covering the talent lifecycle, HR strategy delivery and associate relations in a fast paced restaurant culture. Responsibilities include Onboarding, Training and Development, Employee Relations, Talent Management/Recruiting, and projects as directed.

 

Talent and Performance Management:

  • Create and/or update job descriptions.
  • Assist with development of competency models for all roles.
  • Coach leaders and managers on processes and conversations to address and resolve associate relations issues and consults with legal partners when necessary.
  • Provide facilitation support for trainings (Management Development, Sexual Harassment, etc.).
  • Manage quarterly and annual performance review process for Corporate and Field employees.
  • Ensure the timely and thorough administration of our performance management practices.

 

Employee Relations:

  • Be a resource for corporate departments on employee issues.
  • Conduct exit interviews with associates leaving the business, share feedback with leaders, and follow the appropriate termination process as dictated by the situation.

 

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Partner with manager and business leaders to develop and execute talent management strategies for a multiple client groups.
  • Partner with managers and talent acquisition to recruit and select qualified candidates to fill open positions and skill gaps on teams.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate onboarding tools and information to the new hires and managers prior to their first day.
  • Manage and facilitate corporate employee on-boarding program.

 

Corporate Events:

  • Oversee planning of all corporate events, including, but not limited to, Holiday Party, Picnics, Quarterly Events, etc.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years Human Resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must have high initiative, integrity, strong work ethic, good communication and analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able and willing to work well in a diverse environment.
  • Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality environment, a plus.
  • SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR certification preferred.
