With a combined 120 years of cheese making experience, state of the art equipment, and a team of dedicated employees; Gossner Foods is a leader in the dairy industry. What began as a strictly Swiss cheese plant, has expanded until now over 30 varieties of cheeses, and also UHT (Ultra High Temperature) shelf stable milk in a variety of flavors.
Cheese Plant Milk Receiver
Description & Responsibilities
- Receive raw Milk (CQP)
- Wash Silo's and keep all equipment clean
- Perform Antibiotic testing (CCP)
- Detailed documentation
- Perform tasks as assigned by Supervisors
- Insure milk haulers follow Company rules
- Insure safety of all in the Receiving bay
- Must responsible and self-motivated
- Able to complete tasks with little or no supervision
- Need to be organized
- Lift/handle 50lbs.
- Climb ladders on to milk trucks
Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Will be required to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in English.
- The individual must be willing to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

- 1-2 years experience in manufacturing environment or production.
Schedule:
Shift is 5 am-3 pm, 4 Days one week, 5 days next week. Alternating weekends
Pay
- Training pay starts at $16.55/Hour with a potential to reach $20.05/Hour after meeting all skill levels.
- Pay including weekend incentives and bonuses this position commonly earns 45k per year once trained.
