Job Responsibilities:
- Provides direct individual therapy and group therapy to identified patients, and ensures proper documentation is completed timely and submitted according to agency and licensing standards.
- Assist in on-unit programming, training and development.
- Communicates in a timely manner and attends all necessary meetings and conferences for increased patient recovery and to facilitate interdisciplinary communication leading to effective treatment and discharge.
- Meets with treatment teams and provides consultation, contributes to patient treatment plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC or LMFT in the state.
- Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
- Proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in treating mood disorders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Salary:
$115k-$130k per year, plus bonuses
