Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individual therapy sessions and group therapy sessions in our outpatient center, perform bio-psycho- social assessments
- Provide coping and social skills, anger management and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
- Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate effectively and consistently with the team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the adult and family.
- Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, dap notes)
- Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory weekly paperwork
- Must have a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LCSW, LMHC, LMFT
- Has Clinical Mental Health Training
- Has some training or willing to complete Crisis Intervention Training
- Has post-internship field experience working with adult with clinical experience
- Has experience with creating treatment planning, treatment goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments.
- Has experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response
- Knows how to use the DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Must have experience providing positive behavior support.
- Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with a copy of NJ or Certification or License.
