Controller

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of the companies financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance

- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

- Collaborate with department managers to develop annual budgets and forecasts

- Provide guidance and support to the executive team on financial matters

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other regulatory requirements

- Oversee the preparation of financial reports for internal stakeholders

- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and industry best practices

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation preferred)

- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role (preferred)

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

- Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis

- Experience with payroll processing and management

- Advanced skills in technical accounting software (QuickBooks) is a must

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (spanish speaking preffered)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
