What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Maintenace Manager position at Governor’s Gun Club?
Maintenance Building Manager is responsible for keeping facilities operating, clean, and assisting with repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. Maintenance Building Manager will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair and cleaning tasks around a facility.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues or concerns
- Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures as needed
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures
- Plan and schedule repairs as needed
- Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard
- Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry as required
- Help develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department
- Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies
- Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door, and wall repairs
- Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped
- Performing a variety of routine maintenance and cleaning tasks
- Help to maintain cleanliness of common areas and restrooms
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
- Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements
- Consistently adheres to SDS (Safety Data Sheet) information related to the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace.

Qualifications
Experience
Minimum of two years of experience preferred but not required
Must be 21 years of age.
Education
High School graduate and Trade School Education preferred
Physical Requirements

The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Vision- must be able to see with or without corrective lenses. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Availability
Ability to work an open schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of GGC. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
