Job Title: Test Administrator
Location: Presidio of Monterey, California
Position Overview:
GovFirst is seeking a Test Administrator to fill a pivotal role at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in Presidio of Monterey, California. As a Test Administrator, you will play a crucial role in administering and proctoring foreign language tests for active-duty Military, Reservists, National Guardsmen, and DoD Civilians.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to maintaining the integrity of the assessment process while providing exceptional support to test-takers.
- Administer and proctor foreign language tests as directed by the Program Manager.
- Provide excellent customer service and verbal communication to test-takers, administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Greet and assist test-takers, providing clear instructions and support throughout the testing process.
- Implement and enforce test security protocols to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of assessments.
- Collaborate with the team to contribute to the improvement of test administration procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the testing platform or equipment to minimize disruptions during assessments.
- Utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word effectively.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to pass a DoD background check and obtain a security clearance.
- Must pass all specialized training and obtain a Defense Foreign Language Test Certification.
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience with military language testing programs is preferred.
- Understanding of military terminology, office procedures, and language is a plus.
- Possess, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a DoD background check and obtain a security clearance.
- Must pass all specialized training and obtain a Defense Foreign Language Test Certification.
