Project Manager
GP Construction is a small, fast-growing company that is looking to hire a Project Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented. We are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team. This position will be based out of our Groveland, FL office.
A project manager is a skilled professional who is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects in various industries. They work to ensure that projects are completed successfully, meeting goals and objectives within the allocated time frame and budget. Project managers develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and coordinate teams to achieve milestones and deliverables. They communicate with stakeholders, monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and make adjustments as needed to keep projects on track. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential for project managers to effectively manage teams, handle challenges, and deliver successful outcomes.
Duties:
- Manage and oversee projects from start to finish
- Develop and maintain project schedules and deliverables
- Communicate with clients and vendors
- Review and approve project documents
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project meets specifications
- Maintain project files, records, and documentation
- Create project reports as needed
- Assist with other projects as needed
- Track progress of projects by communicating with clients, vendors, etc.
- Provide updates to clients as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (this position will be in person)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. This position will require you to work independently. You must be able to manage your time effectively while also being able to collaborate with others. You must be able to communicate well with clients and vendors. You must also be able to follow up on tasks in a timely manner.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and TeamViewer/Zoom. We are looking for someone who also has knowledge with Bluebeam.
Benefits: Full-time position (Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm) with PTO after 90 days.
