Job Type: Full-time

GPFS is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing valuable insights to support informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain existing data models that track private investments fund performance such as IRR, DPI, MOI and TVPI.
2. Produce ad-hoc models for clients or GPFS management for purposes such as fund raising or performance tracking.
3. Cultivate operational fund administration data and develop related KPI’s that can be used to monitor and measure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Support fund administration teams by producing and reviewing data driven work-paper schedules used in financial statements, investment valuations and other deliverables.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related degree and/or an advanced degree in Data Analytics, Finance or Business Administration.
2. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
3. Experience with performance calculations.
4. Knowledge of investment & economic principals / terms (markets, asset classes, fund classes, sectors etc.)
5. Understanding of performance and Benchmarking calculations and terminology (GIPS, PME)
6. Ability to identify trends, patterns, or abnormalities in data sets
7. Ability to simplify complex data sets
8. Preferred experience in the following:
1. Macro / VBA
2. SQL / SSRS
3. R / Python
4. Cloud data warehouse (Google Big Query / AWS Redshift)
5. Business Intelligence products
