What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ag Office Manager position at gpac?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and process customer orders from sales team with attention to detail.
- Process orders to ship timely and meet deadlines for customer requirements.
- Ensuing timely arrival of materials, build of finished goods and the monitoring of customer shipments.
- Track inventory through our software system for orders and availability.
- Work with inventory team to confirm availability and substitutions.
- Consistently read and respond to all correspondence.
- Maintain communication with supervisors on shipment issues.
- Assisting with other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Help develop new marketing and sales related items.
- Work and develop a social media platform.
- Make meaningful solution recommendations based on specific needs for particular customer requirements.
- Enter and track (Variety/Yields) on production contracts and produce reports.
- May be required to attend association meeting or Industry related trade shows.
- Assisting with other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal. Written, listening and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization skills and follow up skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Self-motivated and ability to remain focused in an open office space.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Outlook).
- Ability to make calculations.
- Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ag or business degree preferred.
