What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agriculture Lobbyist position at Gpac?
Gpac is partnered with a diverse agricultural organization that has a very unique opportunity! This is a long standing company with a large following and they are looking to hire for a Lobbyist role.
As a Lobbyist, you would monitor upcoming legislation and identify relevant issues, consult leadership on policy development and address the issues by via effective legislative and congressional advocacy strategies. You would work directly with farmer members and lobby on behalf of them.
They are seeking someone that is an effective communicator and someone that can present well. This person must have a strong agriculture background and a passion for the agriculture industry. Prefer a degree in Agriculture or equal relevant experience. Experienced and knowledgeable with row crops and/or cattle will be a huge plus.
