Ammonia Service Technician Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Ammonia Service Technician to join our client's team. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are looking for a company that values work / life balance and treats employees like family.

Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with air compressors and associated control systems
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide prompt and efficient repairs
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
• Maintain accurate records of service and repairs performed

Essential job functions :

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients
• Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
• Detail-oriented and able to accurately document service and repair activities

Skills :

• 5 years of experience working with ammonia in an industrial setting
• Knowledge of air compressors and associated control systems
• Familiarity with maintenance and repair procedures for industrial refrigeration systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools effectively
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex system problems
