Responsibilities
- Interpret architectural drawings and create custom metal products such as staircases, railings, doors, and windows
- Work with various metals including steel, aluminum, brass, and copper
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to shape, cut, and join metals
- Ensure that all products are fabricated to high quality standards
- Install metal products on-site at construction projects
- Communicate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that project requirements are met
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural metal fabrication and installation
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings
- Knowledge of metalworking techniques including welding, cutting, and shaping
- Ability to work with a variety of metals including steel, aluminum, brass, and copper
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
