Assistant Project Manager Responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager and General Superintendent with project tasks
- Generate and document RFI's and submittals
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and implementation
- Assist with project cost management including buyout, invoicing, and monthly cost reports
- Ensure projects are built to contract plans and specifications and preform project quality inspections.
- Review and approve daily field logs
- Maintain and distribute project documents for multiple projects.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with project teams, general contractors, engineers, and owners
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering desired
- Minimum 1-5 years of construction experience as an Assistant Project Manager or equivalent
- Knowledge of principals, methods, and standards of the designated trade's area
- Experience in the use and methods of tools and equipment commonly employed with the trade
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
- Performs work in accordance with standards and specifications
