Position: Chambers Technician

Essential Duties
- Manually remove machining imperfections from parts utilizing the operator's skill and knowledge to efficiently perform the manual blending, polishing and creation of edge breaks on precision components.
- Perform processing steps including, but not limited to, graining, masking, deburring and cleaning.
- Apply directional lay patterns as required by customer drawings.
- Hardware installation
- Apply critical surfaces to meet customers' cosmetic requirements.
- Apply epoxy using a pneumatic epoxy gun.
- Package and ship vendor parts for outside processing
- Ensure that standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work including tool setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, and material handling.
- Ensure documentation, including certifications, work orders, process sheets, etc. are kept in order and filled out completely.
- Ensure that parts processing adheres to quality standards and customer specifications.
- General knowledge of cleanroom practices and the ability to work in a cleanroom.
- Perform tests required by customer specification (i.e. helium leak check)
- Follow all safety protocols.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of multiple types of pneumatic sanders and the proper application of each sander.
- Must be able to accurately follow detailed directions, read/interpret design/ technical drawings, engineering specifications, and process/equipment instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Basic math or industrial mathematics desired.
