Job Title : Project Manager / Estimator
About Us :

Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial drywall industry.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in drywall, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, gypsum walls, and related areas.
Proficiency in OST / QuickBid software is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Estimate project costs and prepare bids for commercial drywall projects, including drywall installation, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, and gypsum walls.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather project requirements and ensure accurate estimates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee project execution, including coordinating subcontractors, managing project timelines, and resolving any issues that arise during construction.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address concerns, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders, providing updates on project milestones, budgetary performance, and changes to project scope.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial drywall industry, with expertise in drywall, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, gypsum walls, and related areas.
- Proficiency in OST / QuickBid software for estimating and project management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to accurately estimate project costs and identify potential risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Proven track record of successfully managing commercial drywall projects from estimation through completion.
Education :
A degree in construction management, engineering, or a relevant tenured employment experience is preferred.
