We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Roofing Estimator to join a reputable roofing company in the area.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the project planning and execution by accurately estimating costs for various roofing projects.

Your expertise will ensure that their clients receive precise and competitive estimates, contributing to their reputation for excellence in the industry.

Responsibilities :

• Analyzing project plans and specifications to prepare accurate roofing estimates.
• Conducting on-site assessments to evaluate existing roof conditions and project requirements.
• Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and clients to gather necessary information for bids.
• Utilizing estimating software and tools to calculate material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Identifying potential risks and opportunities for cost savings during the estimating process.
• Preparing detailed proposals and bid packages, ensuring they meet client specifications and deadlines.
• Presenting estimates and proposals to clients, addressing any questions or concerns effectively.
• Maintaining accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documentation for future reference and analysis.
• Staying updated on industry trends, materials, and pricing to provide competitive and cost-effective solutions.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a Roofing Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications or training in estimating and project management
