Position Title : Commercial Drywall Estimator
Ideal Candidate :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Commercial Drywall Estimating , specifically with metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, and trim and door work (subcontracting experience preferred).
- Proficient in estimating software such as On Screen Takeoff, Edge, Wind Bid.
- OSHA Certification and bilingual abilities (preferred but not required).
- Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost and labor estimates for commercial drywall projects.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and superintendents to review contracts and ensure smooth project handoffs.
- Create, manage, and review project budgets, ensuring all estimates align with client expectations and project scope.
- Communicate daily with clients, project teams, and subcontractors to address project details and pricing changes.
- Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Change Orders as needed.
