Commercial Underwriter:
GPAC, a well-known recruitment company with over 30 years of experience, is partnering with a leading Financial Services company that is looking for a Commercial Underwriter. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are experienced in underwriting and want to work for a family-friendly and supportive environment.
As a Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting commercial business, real estate, and SBA 504 loan requests. You will work with the sales staff and prepare loan documentation and monitor through the closing process.
Essential Job Functions:
- Analyzes commercial loan applicants
- Coordinate credit approval process, and mitigate risk
- Provide assistance and sales support to all sales staff in relation to commercial loans
- Order business/personal credit reports on business principals
- Assist relationship managers as needed
Skills:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or work experience
- 3 years experience in a small business/commercial lending environment
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task as needed
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite of applications
