What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Partner position at gpac?
A rapidly growing law firm, with multiple offices seeks a Corporate Partner in their local office. Very competitive pay, exceptional benefits package, excellent position for growth. The candidate must have advanced transactional experience that includes managing/leading M&A transactions, drafting and negotiating corporate and transactional documents (including M&A agreements and/or related ancillary documents), LLC/shareholder agreements, and commercial agreements. Should have experience leading M&A projects from start to finish, working directly with clients, and an ability to manage a legal team. Experience in advising clients on a variety of general corporate matters is strongly preferred. Should possess 6 years of law firm experience to join its active and highly collaborative Corporate Group. Must have broad based and sophisticated corporate and M&A experience coupled and a growing book of business at the $200,000 level or a demonstrated ability to handle clients and a desire to bring in new business.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 6 years' experience in high value M&A transactions
- M&A projects lead start to finish
- Restaurant Franchise experience a plus
- Tennessee Bar License Required or willingness to obtain.
