Job Description
Gpac is partnered with a thriving nonprofit organization in Culver City is needing a Development Associate to join their team.
This will be an onsite position.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and update the donor database with accurate and current information.
- Track donor interactions, contributions, and giving history.
- Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and events.
- Coordinate logistics for fundraising activities.
- Write grants and conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities.
- Assist in the development of grant proposals, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Provide presentations to donors at local events or meetings.
- Implement and support annual giving programs, including donor appeals and solicitation campaigns.
- Assist in preparing materials for major donor meetings and presentations.
- Assist in planning and organizing fundraising events, including logistics, invitations, and follow-up activities.
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with corporate and foundation partners.
- Support the development of proposals and reports for corporate and foundation grants.
- Conduct research to identify and evaluate potential donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Analyze data to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2-5 years of experience with a nonprofit in a similar capacity.
