Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Drywall Estimator with a minimum of 4 years of direct working for a drywall company to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of drywall construction processes, materials, and labor requirements.

The primary responsibility of the Drywall Estimator will be to accurately estimate project costs, analyze blueprints, conduct on-site evaluations, and collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver comprehensive and competitive bids.

Drywall Estimator Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct on-site evaluations to assess project scope, conditions, and potential challenges.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and clients to clarify project requirements and specifications.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to generate detailed and accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including itemized breakdowns of costs, timelines, and project deliverables.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure competitive pricing.
• Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and other project documents as needed.
• Provide ongoing support to project teams by addressing inquiries, clarifying specifications, and resolving issues related to cost estimation.
• Monitor project progress and budgetary performance to identify potential cost overruns or savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to source materials and subcontractors at competitive prices.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as required.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documents for future reference and analysis.

Drywall Estimator Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Drywall Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on drywall installations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to accurately quantify materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of drywall construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Experience using construction estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing accurate and thorough cost estimates.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to review and negotiate contracts and change orders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
