What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Estimator position at gpac?
I am partnered with an Electrical Contracting Company who is urgently looking for an Electrical Estimator to add to their growing team. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with a positive and outgoing attitude. The Estimator will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive estimates.
I have an immediate opening for an Electrical Estimator in Buffalo, NY. Position is with a well-established contractor who has outstanding benefits, outstanding salary, and bonus. Relocation assistance is available for this position. Experience in Commercial and Industrial Projects up to 20M is preferred. Are you a PM/Estimator? They want you as well. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage and review subcontractors and vendor's bid, proposal and Bill of Materials
- Perform budget pricing from schematic drawing and narrative
- Draft scope letters, proposals and vendor solicitations
- Work under deadlines efficiently and in a composed manner
- Identify any inconsistent issues, problems and other issues within bid documents
- Communicate and partner with project managers and general contractors to ensure a high-quality estimate is delivered on time
- Knowledgeable with construction documents, including the ability to read drawings and specifications
- Develop and maintain client relationships
Skills and Experience:
- 3 - 5 Years of electrical estimating experience
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience utilizing Estimating software applications
- Knowledge of general construction practices
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Codes
