A well-established firm within the area is seeking a Escrow Assistant.
This organization is looking to add a Escrow Assistant to join a team of highly motivated staff. This position will help escrow officer to ensure completion of all closing work for clients in your assigned market. You will serve as the primary contact to the client, and ensure they are given high quality service.
Desired Qualifications:
- State escrow certification
- Proven work experience as an Escrow Assistant
- Advanced clerical knowledge
- Knowledge of legal codes, court procedures, and executive orders
- Basic computer and office software skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and property maps
Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of land ownership documents
- Confer with buyers, sellers, and lending institutions
- Prepare legal documents for the closure of the sale
- Ensure all financial obligations are met by the seller and the buyer
- Finalize the real estate transaction and prepare closing reports
