Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Work in the field.
- Experience repairing and maintaining Construction Diesel Heavy Equipment such as Case, Caterpillar and Komatsu Heavy Equipment.
- Work in a safe manner, understand OSHA standards and maintain a clean workplace.
- Experience using diagnostic software such as CAT ET a plus (company will train).
- Proficient in hydraulics knowledge and diagnostics and repair.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Experience and understanding of computer and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of diesel engines a plus.
- Conduct inspections of equipment noting mechanical or safety issues.
- Must be able to operate basic tools and specialty tools.
- Work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and show up on time.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
- One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school in diesel mechanics or a related field a plus
- 3 years’ experience / or training / or classes in repairing and maintaining Case, Caterpillar and Komatsu Heavy Equipment.
- Driver’s License (required).
- Computer and Mathematical Skills.
