What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flooring estimator position at Gpac?
- Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to understand client needs.
- Utilize industry software and tools to generate precise and competitive estimates, considering factors such as labor, materials, and additional services.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability information.
- Review architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements accurately.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotes, and proposals.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Flooring Estimator or similar role in the flooring industry.
- Strong knowledge of different flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in using estimation software and tools to generate accurate estimates.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to calculate measurements, quantities, and costs.
- Solid understanding of construction documents, including blueprints, specifications, and architectural plans.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
