Position Overview : We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Safety Associate to join our team. The Food Safety Associate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our food safety standards to ensure the quality and safety of our products.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of our facilities to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of food safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address food safety concerns and areas for improvement.
- Monitor and analyze data related to food safety metrics and trends, and provide recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in training employees on proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis for food safety incidents or complaints.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to food safety.
Qualifications :
- Prior experience in food safety, quality assurance, or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, SQF, HACCP) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
Hours :
- Monday to Friday, from 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm.
