What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grain Merchandiser position at gpac?
Gpac is partnered with a highly reputable grain company to fill the role of a Grain Merchandiser. This individual will be responsible for growing long-term relationships with growers, with the best interests of both the grower and company in mind.
Grain Merchandiser Responsibilities:
- Understand local/regional grain markets, including market movement, price action, factors influencing price.
- Make quotes and prepare contracts for sales and purchases.
- Maintain relationships with customers and business partners.
- Set up movement of grain within the company.
- Have great communication skills!
Grain Merchandiser Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent training.
- Great customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Problem solver and able to work with minimal supervision.
