What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grants Coordinator position at Gpac?
GPAC has partnered with a highly regarded client that supports nonprofits to better serve and empower communities. They are seeking a fund development professional who is
- highly organized,
- a strong writer and
- has a track record of success with government grants.
This position is HYBRID with in-office days at their downtown Los Angeles or San Pedro office locations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Three or more years of experience in funder research, grant writing and project management.
- Proven track record of securing institutional funding. Public grant writing experience is highly desired.
- Motivated self-starter, with proven ability to develop creative solutions.
- Superior write communication and organizational skills; strong interpersonal skills
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Draft and fine-tune grant proposals, LOIs, reports and other written materials.
- Interview community stakeholders to inform strategic plans.
- Craft compelling testimonials and stories for client publications.
- Partner with clients/staff to create a competitive pitch/case for support.
- Conduct research on public and private institutional funders, as well as individual donors.
- Track and manage funder pipelines and systems for clients
