What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician position at Gpac?
Our client is looking to hire an industrial maintenance technician for an off-shift (flexible start time between 12p and 2p). This is a full time, permanent opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining operating condition of injection molding machines, building, other equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical and PLCs
- Conduct equipment lubrication for robots and other machines
- Installs and maintains electrical equipment such as motors, fixtures, switches, robots controls and secondary process equipment
- Installation of new machinery when needed
- Possess mechanical and hydraulics background
- Strong welding, read blue prints, troubleshoot issues
- Maintain inventories and supplies
Education and Experience
- Must have experience with injection molding machines
- High School Diploma/GED is required; 2-year degree in trade school desired.
- At least 4 years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenace experience in industrial environments
- Must be willing to work overtime to ensure projects are implemented on a timely basis
